This was the greatest of all predators - the King of the predatory reptiles. The Tyrannosaurus was about 16 metres long, 5 metres high and had a huge skull with 15 cm long dagger-like teeth. With a single step the Tyrannosaurus covered almost 4 metres. It lived about 70 million years ago in North America.
